La rencontre avec les Bisounours

Meeting the Care Bears

Since arriving in Switzerland, Labubu had learned a lot: how to walk in the snow, how to eat hot fondue without sticking his whiskers together, how to laugh without his cousins.

But something was still missing... a little gentle magic, a breath of color in his winter days. A simple, almost forgotten emotion: that of feeling cradled.

One evening, as he gazed at the stars and chewed a piece of dry bread, a warm, fragrant wind blew down from the clouds. A pink swirl, dotted with glitter and sweet notes, tickled his ears.

— "That's not a Valaisan breeze, is it..." he thought, intrigued.

And suddenly, as if emerging from a childhood dream, Round, fluffy figures landed all around him . Living stuffed animals, hearts on their bellies, rainbows in their arms, the Care Bears .

He remained frozen. Labubu, as is well known, are rather mischievous and teasing. But now, his pointed smile turned shy.

A pink, starry Care Bear approached and opened her arms wide. Without thinking, Labubu nestles there .

For the first time in a long time, he wasn't laughing. He felt .

The other Labubu descended in turn, sliding on the rainbows that the Care Bears unrolled from the clouds.

We exchanged shiny treats, finger drawings on the steamy windows, stories that didn't need words.

It was a world where no one was suspicious. Where the heart, not the origin, was the deciding factor.

— "But aren't you afraid of our teeth?" Labubu dared to whisper to Little Heart, while nibbling on a star-spangled marshmallow.

— "Your teeth? No. It's your eyes that we see first, and they are beautiful."

That evening, They all fell asleep together on a rainbow bridge , like a big family in a fairy tale.

In the sky, the stars fell gently, like cotton flakes.

And Labubu, with half-closed eyes, thought:

“Maybe there are worlds where everyone belongs… Even soft monsters like me.”
